| ACORE to focus on Feed-in Tariffs |

U.S. Feed-in Tariffs: Lessons Learned, is the title of the May 19 ACORE teleseminar, to be held in the Portland office of Ater Wynne LLP. The presentation focuses on the concept of Feed-in Tariffs (FITs), requiring utilities to give grid access to specific renewable energy generators and enter into long term power purchase contracts with these generators as an incentive for rapid development of renewable energy. The teleseminar will run from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Downloadable materials are available the day before the event.
The ACORE webinar series provides information regarding legal, policy, finance and business developments in renewable energy and distributed generation. It is open to ACORE and ABA members and those involved in renewable energy or distributed generation fields.
This is the second year Ater Wynne’s Environmental and Energy Groups have served as the Portland host for the teleconference series, presented monthly by the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) in collaboration with the Renewable Energy Resources Committee of the ABA. The series is free to those who attend at Ater Wynne's Portland office or in another host city.
